USGS Kevlar Wading Tagline, 1/16in dia., 500ft Long

The USGS Kevlar taglines consist of a Kevlar inner core enclosed within a woven nylon jacket in a bright orange/yellow color. The “tags” or marks are made with black marking ink creating a high visibility contrast. The wading tagline is 1/16” (0.16 cm) diameter. The wading Kevlar is waxed with a commercial grade thread wax to prevent from absorbing excess water when in use.

The Kevlar can be cleaned with re-waxing cleaner pads as needed or returned for complete re-waxing.

Imperial wading taglines are marked with one mark every two feet, two marks every 10 feet and three marks every 100 feet.

Metric wading taglines are marked with one mark every meter, two marks every 10 meters and three marks every 100 meters.

The marks are not numbered in any way.

This 500' length is shipped on an orange plastic reel.
